For more than 30 years, I have been deeply involved in the financial markets—not just in theory, but with real capital. My journey began early: at just 16 years old, I won the Sparkassen “Student Stock Market Game.” At that point, it was clear to me that trading was not just a hobby, but my professional future.

My career has taken me through various stages of the financial world—from traditional brokerage to asset management and on to one of Germany’s largest banks. This experience has shaped my perspective on the markets and given me a deep understanding of different trading approaches, market mechanics, and risk structures.

Today, as a professional trader, I make my decisions primarily based on technical analysis. I deliberately use fundamental factors only to contextualize the bigger picture—my specific entry and exit points are based on clearly defined technical signals.

Over the years, I have built a structured strategy toolkit that combines both traditional and innovative methods. This includes, in particular, trend-following approaches such as Rainbow Trading, which allows for the targeted identification of strong trend and momentum phases. Within these phases, I work with selected candlestick patterns that provide me with precise entry signals. In addition, I use Elliott Wave analysis to better understand market movements.

But despite all the methodology, there is one thing I have learned above all else in over three decades: Successful trading depends not only on the strategy, but on the consistent application of fundamental principles:
